PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As the Product Designer on Video World, I worked across research, concept development, interaction design, prototyping, and testing to explore how short‑form video experiences could be designed beyond entertainment. The project was developed as part of an intensive design sprint and workshop format, moving quickly from problem framing to tested prototypes.
PROBLEM
The goal of the design sprint was to design intuitive entry points from the existing GMX News page into the Video World, while respecting the fundamental differences between a traditional news experience and a video‑first feature.

DESIGN SPRINT & USER-CENTERED APPROACH
A design sprint was used to generate entry‑point concepts, followed by a Laser Tag session where we spoke directly with young users to understand their expectations around news and video. These insights informed a first round of user testing to validate clarity and usability.

ENTRY POINT PROTOTYPES
These prototypes introduce visually distinct entry points on the News page that both stand out from traditional news content and preview the Video World experience, helping users understand what they are about to enter before committing.
